The sketchbook is available in A5, A4 and A3 and in two different formats as described here:
The 'Bockingford 12s' sketchbook contains 12 sheets of 3 different types of Bockingford watercolour paper made by St. Cuthberts paper mill in Somerset, 4x Hot Press, 4x Cold Press (Not) and 4x Rough. This is a perfect sketchbook for trying a range of techniques, with each surface being known for being forgiving to work with and having excellent colour lifting abilities.
The 'Botanical' covered sketchbook contains 10 sheets of Botanical Ultra Smooth paper which is suitable for a range of techniques including watercolours, watercolour pencils, acrylics as well as dry media such as oil pastels, graphite and charcoal. This paper is known for its high level of permanence and resistance to ageing so great for making artwork or sketches that you want to last a lifetime. This paper is acid free, mould-made and 50% cotton.
These sketchbooks feature a drawing of the Dingwall skyline that we commissioned in 2022 by the late artist, Sandy Gracie. Cover colour may vary.
