Artist Greeting Card based on an original papercut image by Kevin O'Neill. Dingwall is home to a national Memorial to Sir Hector MacDonald; a solider who rose from the rank of private to commanding officer in the time of Queen Victoria, an almost impossible feat for the son of a Black Isle crofter. This image celebrates Dingwall's 800th birthday, the town having become a Royal Burgh in 1226. It was produced for the 'Cutting Up Scotland' exhibition by the artist, held at Alchemist Gallery. "My work is a representation of Scottish scenery produced with a scalpel, paper, cutting mat and spray paint plus considerable patience''.
